  1. I saw the lights also. I saw them earlier this year I think it was in March. We were staying In a hotel on the strip and I saw 5 of them light up one at a time in a row. I was freaking out.

  2. I saw 5 of these lights light up one at a time along the sea line while staying in a hotel on the boardwalk back in march 2014. It was the craziest thing I've ever seen. I froze up and all I could do was yell for my husband who didn't make it to balcony in time. I was told they were drones but drones do not act the way these things were.

    1. Melissa, that sounds amazing. Its rare to see a UFO that has others with it. Its may favorite kind of sighting. Did they repeat each others movements...meaning copy each other? UFOs do this.

  3. Not only did I see the orange lights, once they dimmed away you could see tiny little white lights moving in very odd ways. Not any way a human craft could move!

  4. We just saw the same thing in Garden City. They were diffrent than the ones we saw here
this past August but we saw them then too.

  5. Last night around midnight I was sitting on my balcony looking out over the ocean. I saw three VERY bright orange lights in a straight line far out over the ocean and high up. They looked like they were still for several seconds and then the lights went out. They reappeared in just a couple of seconds in the same area in a triangular configuration. After a few seconds, the lights extinguished again. About three minutes later, I saw a larger same light much further to the south but still far out over the ocean. They may have been in a tighter formation causing them to look like one. It stayed extremely bright for a few seconds and just extinguished in the same spot. It was extremely clear last night and the moon was full and extremely bright. These lights were brighter than any stars.

  7. Last night, 10/8/14, as we sat on our balcony at the beach, we began noticing bright orange lights appearing out over the ocean. One would appear and then split into 4 or 5 in a row. then they would flash off and then reappear. Then there would be 2 moving erratically, then there would be multiples again. They started out north of our position and would then begin appearing and disappearing slightly further south. Over the next hour and a half we spotted them several times in different configurations. It was a full moon and clear. The lights were orangeish yellow like fire but would move strangely and then just twinkle out, only to reappear shortly.

    1. My father in law and my wife saw the exact same thing from our beachfront balcony in N. Myrtle Beach on 8 and 9 October 2014 between 8:45 and 9:30 or so. The second night we also saw smaller white lights in a rectangular pattern cross in front of us in the sky. He is retired state police and says it's the weirdest thing he's ever seen. I'm former military and there's no way it could have been any craft I know of. Got blurry pics of it.

    2. Saw the same thing on 10/8/14...saw them around 9:15 and they lasted until around 9:40 the last time we saw them. I'm so glad someone else saw them!

  8. So glad someone else saw those lights, too. We on were on balcony overlooking the ocean and saw a row of orange lights around 9:15 on 10/8. There was no sound of an engine, so we were really puzzled. The lights would blink out and one dropped downward from the line of lights. Disappeared and then reappeared several minutes later. Tried to take a video but my aim was off.

  9. My family and I had a similar sighting on October 20th 2014. We were sitting on the balcony of our Myrtle Beach beachfront condo when we saw several lights in the distance that were orange in color. They would shine for a couple seconds and then fade out. After a couple minutes they would reappear, some in the same location as before and some further south. This went on from about 8:15 pm thru 9:00 pm. At about 9:10, we saw one of the lights reappear closer to us which divided into six or seven lights in a half circle formation. I am a police officer in Colorado and have been for 10 years. This is by far the strangest thing I have ever seen.

  10. I also saw the orange orbs along N Myrtle Beach on the 7th, 8th, and 9th of October 2014. One orb, then split into 2, then into 3 across, which turned into a triangular pattern. There were also additional lights on the 9th of October. They appeared to be approx. 200 tiny little lights that blinked off and on and moved across the sky like a flock of birds. They appeared to be like tiny energies. They were seen prior to the orange orbs

    1. We were at MB for 12 days and say the lights on 5 different occasions. Most notably on Oct 8 & 9 ( full moons) at the end of 2nd Ave.fishing pier. Orange lights out of nowhere with no sound or mass. Disappearing and reappearing south. We saw the same thing on 3 other nights always around 8:15 to 9 pm. Can't understand why no publicity or explanation due to large amount of sightings ?.

  11. Several summers ago we were at a baseball tournament and stayed at North Myrtle Beach. Since the ball team could not overdo it during the day around game time, we took them to the beach at night before bed. My wife, another parent, and myself were standing near the water while the boys played nearby. There were other people taking walks along the beach but it was very dark. A bright light flashed over the water.....like a camera flash. Seemed like it was close but over the water for sure. It flashed about three times within about 45 minutes. We could not see the source of the light.....too dark. A couple walking nearby stopped when it flashed and tried to see what it was but could not and they continued on. The three of us standing there were discussing what the flash could be. I was staring out over the dark ocean when I noticed a line of small lights to the left, they were not in a perfect row and not evenly spaced....but all moving toward the middle spot of the horizon. On the right side were more lights moving in the same manner and heading toward the other lights. They were way out over the ocean and no other lights were around. They all seemed to merge together and disappear into the dark far out there. We continued looking around the dark sky and from the direction where the small lights had disappeared we saw a solid shape overhead moving very slowly across the sky. Possibly v-shaped or triangular shape, I could not see the outline of the back of it very well but I could see the front came to a very rounded point. it went right over us and must have been very high up. There were no lights at all....we could see the shape because the stars overhead were blocked out and we could see it moving across going inland over the main drag and disappear. It made no sound. Just a few minutes later a small airplane went over very high up and we heard the motor on that airplane. It was bizarre to see such a large slow moving object moving across under the stars with no noise or lights whatsoever. I think the first lights we saw closer to us were the same ones that disappeared in the horizon near this object. I have no clue what it could be. I just know what we saw.

  14. As my Godmother used to say, 'Fake it 'til you make it.

With a little further conversation and enquiry I soon deduced why.

They'll stay with you for a time, and then they'll leave.
