UFO sighting at Ann Arbor, Michigan of many red orbs in sky above the trees, June 11, 2011.

Date of sighting: June 11, 2011
Location of sighting: Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA

Eyewitness states:
"At around 8pm, a single sphere like object had come over the tree line and jutted down in a quick motion and then continued on in a straight path. Soon after, 4 more objects appeared with the first three in a triangular pattern with two following. After about 2 or 3 minutes of the objects moving slowly through the sky, they were gone."

"About an hour later, all five reappeared from the same spot on the tree line, this sighting is from when the pics were taken. The first pic was underexposed to stop the movement, whereas the other two were with a slower shutter to capture the light too. (1st pic is a 1/160 second two (taken a second apart) were at 1/8). Again, after moving slowly through the sky, they one by one disappeared. I again saw them at around 11:20pm. Once again, came out of the same part of the treeline, moved across the sky for about 2-3min and vanished."

  1. Wow ! My wife and I saw 2 orange / red lights in the sky tonight. This was in Ann Arbor, in town. We saw them above and through the trees, heading west / east. They appeared to be fairly high up, but large. They did not blink at all. Ruled out airplane, but they were moving at a fair clip, with one catching up quickly with the other. We were driving, and watching them from our car, losing them between the trees.. finally coming to a good clearing at Main St., but the lights were gone. We'd been driving around watching for fireworks. These were NOT fireworks. They were moving too evenly, and horizontaly across the sky. And quick. The one light seemed to fly under the other...then gone. I typed in UFO A2 and came up with these recent photos that look very similar. ???

  2. My wife and I saw similar lights last night traveling south on US-14. There were at least 10 lights in the sky. The lights seemed to be stationary when we first saw them. Once we pulled over to take a harder look, there were only two lights left in the sky and they looked like they were moving slowly to the ground. In less than a minute those lights faded away. We didn’t witness the lights making any bizarre movements. A possible explanation could be that someone dropped flares out of an aircraft.

  3. Hi I live in Ann Arbor. On Aug 20th 2011 around 10.30 p.m we saw 10-15 orange red balls of light appearing from the west with a specific geometrical formation. they moved slowly and then dissipated of . we were able to capture seven of them appearing like a kite, three in a triangular formation. we then zoomed in our camera and could capture two of them. it was a very strange thing to see, but was very exciting and beautiful as well.

  4. Witnessed by 8 strangers outside of Liberty Park downtown Ann Arbor, three fiery orange orbs descended from the night sky and began to integrate into flight formation just above the new parking structure's assembly. Within moments each ascended individually but in perfect, fluid, motion. Their trajectory was steadfast; however, less than three minutes later they returned to the exact same local skyway. Each coming from independent origins then into exact formation creating a triangle that upon assemblage began to oscillate. After a 720 degree rotation in unison, they vanished one by one. The strangest thing was that they appeared not like vehicles of quantum possibility, instead like bodies of their own independent voyage. They appeared more celestial with omnipresence and less invasive like the underlying stigma behind the UFO occult and history. This has been the third time I have seen these exact unidentified flying objects in this area, but the first with multiple objects, with multiple witnesses, and altogether, in only one weeks time. Investigate. Share. Collectively become present and aware. May we reach to understand without panic, instead curiousity and wonderment. 8 strangers in downtown Ann Arbor the night of September the 17th, 2011, around 10:27pm-ish.

  5. On August 11, 2012 around 10:00 pm my husband and I were driving north on M14 and saw between 15-20 bright orangish-red lights in the sky starting just above the treeline and rising up into the sky in a curvey triangular formation. A few of the orange orbs at the tip of the triangle of orbs were moving higher up into the sky. We could not pull over going N on M14 due to construction. But on the southbound side we saw a car pulled over in the grassy median watching. I have driven this road for over 20 years back and forth from Southfield MI as my parents live in Sylvania OH. I know this road backwards and forwards and have never seen anything like this. At first we thought they were lights from a communications tower - but they were orange not red and they were not in vertical or horizontal lines - they were in a fluid curvey triangular formation. Is there anyone else out there who saw these 20+ orange orbs in the skys over Ann Arbor on August 11, 2012?

  7. My ex and I witnessed maybe a dozen or so of these red lights. We were headed north on Webster Church and saw them north of North Territorial Road. I pulled over to look at them. They were moving slowly in a eastward direction, lasted maybe 15 or 20 minutes and were gone.
