Triangle UFO formation over Michigan on September 11, 2011, video, UFO Sighting News.

Date of sighting: September 11, 2011
Location of sighting: Michigan, USA

We were getting ready to close up the house for the evening and looked out our front picture window to witness these cylindrically-shaped, vertical self-contained flame/fireball objects slowly traveling from a south-west to a north-east direction in a straight line just above the treetops. They appeared to look like big vertical hot air balloon flames only without the balloon, basket or accompanying noise. They were travelling in groups and/or triangular formations as well as singularly...all in the same path together, one right after the other. We were shocked and confused because we couldn't figure out what they could be...there is no physical, logical, atmospherical, meteorological or military explanation that we're able to conjer up. We ran in and grabbed our brand-new camcorder to try to capture as much as we could on video. The best perspective we were able to capture was the one we got showing the three of these independent, non-connected cylindrically-shaped balls of flames travelling together in a triangular-shaped formation. We watched them slowly travel away from us and then gradually just fade away into the clear night sky. Unfortunately, we haven't owned our camcorder long enough to get a really great shot for posterity as you can tell from our photo date saying "Sept. 12, 2011" when it actually was the evening of September 11th. We are in complete and total awe!

  1. I live in shelby twp. michigan.. seen same exact thing that night around 9:00p.m. they flew literally right above my house. Your description is excatly what i seen i'm glad someone else saw it too. scared the crap out of me.. I've been trying to research this since ive seen them i came across explantions of chinese lanterns. but being they flew directly above my house i had a real good visual of them. there was no way they were lanterns. They looked definetly like some kind of flying machine. appeared to be either circle or triangle in shape.. I've never ever seen anything like that before..

  2. While camping at Addison Oaks on October 10, 2010 we saw the same thing. The WHOLE campground was freaking out. My son, who was six at the time, ran into the camper, crying, and wouldn't come back out. I've tried many times to see if anyone had posted anything about that "event" but have never run across anything. This video, however, is exactly like what we saw. The chinese lantern/balloon flame w/o the ballon description...fits it to a T. What we saw were six lights. They seemed to be independent of each other, but at the same time they moved together. The distance between the lights never varied. To the naked eye the looked orange-red, but in the picture I have of them only two have any orange or red coloring to them...the others look white. Also, in my photo, the two sets of three lights are positioned horizontally next to each other which gives a zig-zag appearance to their pattern. What was REALLY weird was that these lights floated in over the tree line (coming in from my right and moving toward my left) and then they just seemed to hover for a few seconds before disappearing by moving in what seemed like a straight line away from me. They didn't disappear in a flash, but it didn't take very long for them to disappear completely from site. They moved pretty quickly. THEN! A few minutes later... THE SAME THING HAPPENED A SECOND TIME. That's when the REAL freak-out happened. You could hear people all over the campground yelling to look at the lights. And trust me when I say my kids weren't the only children scared and crying. It was really, really weird.
