Robert Orel Dean, a retired U.S. Army Command Sergeant Major and former NATO intelligence officer, was one of the few insiders bold enough to speak openly about the reality of extraterrestrial contact. While working at NATO’s SHAPE headquarters in the 1960s, he claimed to have read a classified document titled The Assessment, which concluded that Earth was being visited by several alien species—some of which looked nearly identical to humans. He described four primary extraterrestrial races, including tall Nordics and small greys, and warned that disclosure wasn’t a question of if, but when.
