UFO Fleet Over Kozloduy, Bulgaria on March 31, 2012, Photos.

Date of Sighting: March 31, 2012
Location of sighting: Kozloduy, Bulgaria
Source: MUFON Case #37042

Eyewitness states: "I was smoking on the balcony of my flat. It was impossible not to notice several bright objects in the sky in front of me. My first suppose was it's artificial lights like Chinese Lanterns. However it's doubtful because there is a mile-wide river (Danube) and miles of unsettled swampy land where the objects flew from.  Six or more bright orange circular moving spots. Objects moved smoothly from NE to SW. They slightly changed drop configuration and speed. No noise was present. I didn't feel anything strange. Fortunately, I had my camera and tripod at hand and managed to take some photos. Unfortunately, my camera automation was set to long of exposure. However the last visible object can be seen without blur. The objects left my view field due behind the building walls. The last observed object stopped moving horizontally and began to move away from the others.

  1. I too saw orange circular shapes moving across the night sky in Perth, Western Australia. 31, March 2012 at approximately 10 pm.
There were 5 of them and they had formed like the outline of a 4 pointed star with 1 more like the tail of the star.

  2. I too saw 5 circular orange lights moving in the night sky above Perth, Western Australia. It was at approximately 10 pm 31,March 2012. They moved very slowly in a shape resembling a 4 sided star with a 5th one as a tail. The dots in the sky were at a height way above the height that small planes travel at.

  3. I too saw 5 orange circular lights in the Perth, Western Australia night sky at 10pm 31, March, 2012. They were slowly traveling across the sky much at a height than that of a small plane. They had formed a shape of a 4 pointed star with the 5th one as a tail to the star shape. The night sky was clear of any clouds. At first sighting, I thought that they were stars in the sky but as I watched them, I could see that they were moving very slowly across the sky.

  6. I saw in Bulgaria, near Plovdiv, during the Bosnia war conflict time, a huge shiny star that was so low on the sky that it was impossible to be a star from the sky.
I saw near the huge star a smaller star, it looked like as if a mother had taken her child for a walk. The huge star was shining with a ligh of a shiny lamp post, it was unbelievably beautiful. It happened at 8.30 pm. Eye witnesses of the event was my family and two children. I was so excited that I was thinking that may be my friends could see the UFO at the same moment and I did not want to miss the event.
After 10 minutes on the night sky, the two stars - big one and the small one, deoarted towards west direction in the sky. They moved very slowly and not in a hurry.
After I called the National Newspaper the next morning, actually I felt quite shy and embarrased to inform them about of what I have seen, and I told them to not to think that I am crazy but I would like to tell them about some news. i provided them with the details of the above named story.
On the next day it was published an article in the national newspaper that the UFO made Bulgaria crazy, that too many people in Bulgaria have seen different lights while driving their cars - pink, green, orange, yellow, and the lights were so strong, that people stopped driving their cars on the motorways just to observe the unusual event.
All other reports came from anonymous people with witness testimonies about these huge different colours of lights in the form of balls, as they describe it. I have not seen any balls or lights, I have seen just the huge and small stars next to it very low on the night sky.
But all these events happened at the same time in Bulgaria.

  8. Bulgaria may be a magnet for UFO sightings judging from what I've read on the Bulgarian National Radio. Here is the link to one (in Bulgarian) from July of this year; this one is from the BNR affiliate in Vidin (which I read via Google Translate):
