In America, and around the world radio telescopes are being used to see and hear possible signals of alien life from across the universe. However there is another use, one that you might not be aware of. A radio telescope can send a message through spaces at the speed of light across the universe. China now has what it needs to make direct contact with aliens, gain their technology, and make friends with a very powerful off world species. Now you know the true reason why China was in a rush to build this.

Aljazeera News States:
China has put the final piece of what is set to be the world's largest radio telescope in place, state media have reported. The "Five-hundred-metre Aperture Spherical Telescope", or FAST, is the size of 30 football fields and has been hewn out of a mountain in the southwestern province of Guizhou. "The project has the potential to search for more strange objects to better understand the origin of the universe and boost the global hunt for extraterrestrial life," Zheng Xiaonian, deputy head of the National Astronomical Observation under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, which built the telescope, said on Sunday. The $180m radio telescope would be a global leader for the next one to two decades, Xiaonian was quoted as saying by the official Xinhua news agency. A number of trials will follow the hoisting of the final piece on Sunday. The telescope, which took about five years to build, is expected to begin operations in September. China's space programme has been a priority, with President Xi Jinping calling for the country to establish itself as a space power. Beijing's ambitions include putting a man on the Moon by 2036 and building a space station - work on which has already begun. China insists its programme is for peaceful purposes, but the US defense department has highlighted Beijing's increasing space capabilities, saying it is pursuing activities aimed to prevent adversaries from using space-based assets in a crisis.

  1. Why do they need a radio telescope to make contact with alien? when we have alien flying in our air, just stop one of them, and there you go, they made alien contact.

  2. I believe it very dangerous to be firing off messages into the cosmos where we have no idea of the consequences - but I guess it must satisfy the boys who have access to these multi-million pound/dollar/yen toys - mush of what is undertaken in the name of "science" is not because there is any benefit to anybody but just because they CAN...when will scientific research be devoted to discoveries that actually benefit mankind or the planet ? - I guess my vision could be called a "utopian" dream but I would state in return ,"just look at what freedom has given us" - the freedom to manufacture toxic products that lay waste to the planet and kill off creatures, plants, etc and have benefited only businessmen and greedy selfish profiteers...guess I am destined to live with disappointment as it ain`t gonna change any time soon.

    1. Oh - so sorry you feel that way on this matter we are actually benefiting from science and all the fields that apply to us being able to learn just about anything our curious mind desires. I believe all that money you're talking about these"boys" are benefiting from includes the capability to use this method of communication and even view what is going on beyond earth on live cam. I'll say that's $$$$ well spent. Imagine how much more beneficial all that "not so well spent money " will be b to us all? I'm just sayin'

    2. Too late, I shot off my book using two giant radio telescopes in the UK and one smaller one at Talk2ETs.com I sent each book over 20X and I sent the Arecibo messages over 200X, and I sent my own written pages (about 10 pages) more than 1000X. So really, if aliens find out it was me that sent them and decide to attack the earth so be it. I gave it my best shot. LOL fear of invasion is just silly, the human race will destroy itself before any alien race has a chance too.

  3. Well, considering the fact, that even the next solar system, Alpha Centauri, is more than 6 lightyears away, conversation may be a little ... slow. Provided that they exactly know, where to look at for foreign civilizations. ;)

  4. Umm... You people do realise radio telescopes receive radio waves, not transmit them, do you?

    1. LOL, did you read my comment above? Did you think I was exaggerating? Its all true, radio telescopes can transmit just as easily as receive. Your walky-talky as a kid...that was a radio transmitter, and some of your messages are still traveling at the speed of light across the universe. Radio waves travel at the speed of light.

From what I heard about the USAF back in the 1950s-1960s communicated a message to aliens (grey) to create a trade for some of their small craft UFOs. The USAF didn't use a radio transmitter, they used a more advanced microwave transmitter, because its was what aliens used. So the story goes. Those UFOs...were the same ones Bob Lazar worked on at Area S4.
