Witness Statement: I was watching the ISS go over and was amazed at how bright it was, it must be really big these days! After about 2 mins and it had just gone overhead another bright white light, but not as bright as the ISS, appeared about a hand length in front of it. It seemed to be on the same orbital path and both moved at a constant speed.
I know it wasn’t the shuttle as that’s due to take off just yet, I’m not sure whether the Soyuz was up there but I’m sure when I’ve seen the shuttle due to dock it has always been behind the ISS.
Both were visible for about a minute then faded as they went out of view.
Anyone have any explanations or anyone else see it? Odd how it just appeared out of nowhere as it was a clear night and I had a good view of the ISS approach and would have seen the other light too.

Witness Statement: Bright, steady white light moving silently from East to West at a steady pace for almost 1 minute. I wondered at the time if it was the space shuttle on its way back to earth. The light then dimmed, and gradually dissapeared. At all times whilst I was watching, I heard no noise. If it had been a helicopter or airplane at that distance, you would have heard it.The evening was still with clear sky and lots of stars. This was not a star, nor do I believe it was an aircraft. Oddly enough, the last two weeks at about 2130, chinooks have been flying the same flight path. Somebody else must have seen this?

Witness Statement: We were driving on the Marine Drive road which straddles the Gt. Orme headland. We turned off to drive towards the summit of the Orme along a steep hill. Emma Thompson, who was seated in the passenger seat of the car noticed an object in the sky, looking like a dark coloured pole high in the sky, it looked to be a few hundred feet away from the road. It remained absolutely still, suspended in the air. I stopped the car and got out. Emma took her camera from her handbag and I managed to take several similar photos of the object.
We turned the car to drive to another vantage point further along Marine Drive, but the object had disappeared by the time we got there.
The object was very clear to the naked eye, but does not show up as clearly in the photographs.
Please find attached two images of the object as mentioned in my sighting submission to the website. The first image is the best one I got of the object, and the second is a close up of one portion of the frame which better identifies the object itself.
The object was very clear against the dusk sky, but did not transfer well to the standard digital camera we had in the car at the time of the sighting.

Witness Statement: I’ve been looking through some of my older images and came across this image that my wife took.We had been out for the night and on the way home we noticed a very bright object in the morning sky looking N E from Newall Green and it was in a fixed position and what caught our eyes was that the object looked to be wobbling.The next day when we looked at the image this is what we saw.It appears to be darting white line in a random pattern.The image was taken on a tripod. Please comment if you know what it is or have seen similar objects.

Witness Statement: I was in my garden at about 3 o’clock and it was a clear day not many clouds at all. I was just looking up when i saw a small circular black shape i thourght at first it may be a satelite but it was below the clouds and moving at 1000mph and i went out about 20 minutes later i saw the same thing again this time it dived straight into the horizon.I really didnt know what to do because it was defintly not a plane or a bird if anyone has any sort of explanation for this please tell. No one really cares because we cant do anything about them but this time it was really weird.

Witness Statement: At about 11pm I went to close the window and saw an orange glowing light travelling South to North at a steady speed. It appeared to slow down as it got past the field that’s in that direction. On the 6th of May, at near enough the same time, I saw a simular object out the kitchen window only this one was white and accelerated as it went over the house. Both travelling about the height a helicopter normally would.

Witness Statement: While sitting in my livingroom I noticed a bright orange light in an orb shape in the dark grey sky. I told my wife and daughter who was sitting beside me and both were stunned by what we were seeing. We thought about every possible explanation, but this was far too bright a light to be lights of an helicopter and also seemed to just hoover in one location. Within a blink of an eye the bright orange orb disapeared and three lights of exactly the same size and colouring appeared and slowly desended below the tree line. I know other people saw this because once the lights went below the tree line I jump into my car and went out to see if I could see anything and noticed a vast number of people in their cars also looking into the dark sky.
I spoke to my uncle a number of days later and told him about the sighting and he to had also seen what sounded to be an exact description of the UFO I had seen but later in the evening and accelerating at unbeleiveable speeds.
This was definately not anything I have seen before i.e. fireworks or chinese lanterns. I also managed to record the three lights on my mobile, which I will upload shortly.
Can anybody shed some light on this?
Has anybody else recorded seeing the same thing?

Witness Statement: A Second after watching the end of my Dvd, I looked by accident at the nice clear Sky through the windows of the living room, I first thought it was a plane but suddenly realized there was no flashing lights (as the planes usually have), it was a bright white light slightly orange (probably high altitude but seemed to be closer than it was), it came heading from the north west towards the sout east, the light last less than a minute then suddenly disappeared like the end of a candle with no smoke no noise or no trail (which make me think it was in probably in very high altitude may be 80km high or 270000 feet minimum , but I am not sure). I believe it was a big piece of a satellite or something like that, certainly not a fast meteorit (this light was too slow). But how frightening to discover all those object falling on our head! As a French myself, descendant of the Gauls, who thought the sky would fall on their heads. They were not totally wrong… Anyway in this nice night I am pretty sure someone else must have seen it too! let me know!
