Ghost hunters have UFO sighting instead, see photo.

On June 5th a group of paranormal researchers set out to document alleged paranormal activity taking place in a cemetery in Richland Missouri. The group consisted of the leader, his wife, and a third witness who submitted the report.

Click on a photo to enlarge.

Below is photo of same place next night.

At first, as the witness reports, they were attempting to contact the unknown entities that seemed to be haunting the graveyard. What they later documented, however, was a far cry from what they had expected to see. The light according to the witness was clear with no real indication of an impending storm.

As they investigated for almost an hour they picked up several pictures of faces with strange stripes running along their sides and orbs, but nothing too incredible in the field of paranormal investigation. The photograph that was later uploaded to the MUFON database was not, however, of a ghost.

It was most conclusively an unidentified flying object. Ten minutes into reviewing the material they had gathered that day, the witness reports hearing the group leader exclaiming that something unusual was in the picture. As the rest of the team went to review the image what they found was shocking. It seemed to those present that they had picked up a seemingly alien craft hovering between the clumps of trees and partially obscured by the darkness.

State Archives of Israel announced as the first flight of a UFO over the country

time of publication: June 9, 2010, 10:26
Last update: June 9, 2010, 12:39

State Archives of Israel published on the eve of the video, which captured an unidentified flying object. However, no details regarding this shooting, no specific date when it was made, not reported, transmits NEWSru Israel with reference to News1.co.il.

According to the media, in this case we can talk about the first video evidence for UFOs in the skies over Israel.

Recently, ufologists have already gathered enough evidence of the existence of these flying saucers and extraterrestrials. In particular, in January last year Talgat (David) Irisbaev handed Received NEWSru Israel video made by him in an industrial area of Kfar Saba. It is clearly visible, a mysterious flying object.

"He looked like the shape of a bone apricot" - told Talgat. A week before this shooting from residents of Kfar Saba came to information that they sometimes see in the night sky illuminated object of unknown origin.

Recall that in February this year, Britain has declassified materials of cases of UFOs, including the written testimonies, pictures and reports on parliamentary debates. Judging from these data, then from 1994 to 2000 in the skies over Britain appeared thousands of "flying saucers".

Among the documents was, in particular, the report of a UFO over the stadium of football club "Chelsea" and that a certain object was circling over the house of former Interior Minister of Great Britain by Michael Howard in the county of Kent. This "big, buzzing object" in 1997 saw six people. In witness became suspicious that the "aliens" engaged in politics.

However, the office of Defense Ministry of Defense officially concluded that no evidence of intrusion into British airspace in the specified date has been set.

MO, June 6, 2010 UFO sighting over Kansas City Royals Game.

MO, June 6, 2010 - 1 white round object with 4 stars in a diamond shape surrounding the ufo. Stars then moved and 6 more were near. MUFON Case # 23652.

I was at a Kansas City Royals game on Sunday afternoon. Around 2pm I just happened to look up in the sky and saw a small white object floating slowly from north to south.

Then about 4 or 5 minutes later the 4 star objects were out in front to the north of the object and 5 to 6 more stars were scattered around it in no apparent order.

They all slowly just moved to the north until they were no longer visible from the stadium.

I told my wife to look up at it and she saw it as well. I have seen other people in the stadium pointing at it as well.

I had sunglasses on which made the star looking objects more visible. When i took them off they werent as easy to view. The main object was easily seen with or without the objects. I was very amazed and had no idea what it could have been.

I watched the news and looked on the internet to see if anybody else had seen it and talked about it, but nothing was ever mentioned. My wife just said it was "strange" but didnt get as worked up as I did. I told her she was probably one of them. She gave me a dirty look.

Hawking’s warning opens debate UFOs deserve further study, UFO sighting.

In the recent TV series “Into the Universe with Stephen Hawking,” the world-renowned physicist stirred the pot of speculation concerning unidentified flying objects (UFOs) and potential earthly visitations by extraterrestrial (ET) entities, warning it would be best for humankind to avoid contact with them if possible.

Hawking noted such aliens would probably be nomads living in massive spaceships after having exhausted the resources of their own planets and shifting from one interstellar refueling station to the next. “If aliens ever visit us, I think the outcome would be much as when Christopher Columbus first landed in America, which didn’t turn out very well for the Native Americans.” Hawking has issued this warning for several years. In a 1996 essay, he said until humans become more sophisticated, they should be “wary of answering” aliens.

In response to Hawking’s warning, The Journal of Cosmology, a scholarly journal of astronomy and astrophysics associated with the Department of Astronomy, Center for Astrophysics, at Harvard-Smithsonian in Cambridge, Mass., published the views of 12 scientists commenting on Hawking’s ET statements. According to the Los Angeles Times, “some criticized Hawking’s use of human behavior to predict what aliens would do, but others said human behavior was a reasonable yardstick. Few, however, questioned the premise of Hawking’s statements — that alien life forms probably exist and we are likely someday to encounter them.”

For those who study of the politics of extraterrestrial contact — the exopolitics community — and many in the UFO research community, Hawking’s statement was a double-edged sword. On the one hand, he brought the ET topic front and center. On the other, his statement runs counter to the opinion and claims of numerous exopolitical analysts and hundreds of UFO researchers and highly credentialed witnesses who firmly believe ET/Earth contact has been well-documented and has been a long-term phenomenon.

Among those offended by Hawking’s pronouncement was former Canadian Defense Minister Paul Hellyer, who is the longest-serving current member of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada.

On May 2, Hellyer publicly defended extraterrestrial civilizations, which he strongly believes have not only visited Earth but also have contributed positively to human technological advancement. “The reality is that they’ve been visiting Earth for decades and probably millennia and have contributed to our knowledge,” Hellyer said. “Microchips, for example, fiber-optics, they are just two of the things that allegedly … came from crashed vehicles.”

In an interview, Hellyer said: “I think Professor Hawking is indulging in some pretty scary talk that I would have hoped would not come from someone with such an established stature. I think it’s really sad that a scientist of his repute would contribute to what I would consider more misinformation about a vast and very important subject.”

A May 5 report by Zland Communications Network also added to the UFO/ET discussion. That report said in 1984 beloved astronomer/astrophysicist Carl Sagan revealed to J. Allen Hynek that he, like Hynek, believed UFOs are real. Hynek, a former professor of astronomy at Ohio State University and at Northwestern University, served as civilian scientific consultant to the U.S. Air Force’s seminal UFO study know as Project Blue Book (1952-69).

At the outset, Hynek was a UFO debunker and, as he said, was an “arch-enemy of those flying saucer groups and enthusiasts who very dearly wanted UFOs to be interplanetary.”

But after leaving Project Blue Book, Hynek wrote: “Now, however, documentation which puts the UFO-U.S. government controversy in quite a new light has become available” and shows “that the CIA and NSA protestation of innocence and lack of interest in UFOs are nothing short of prevarication. ... For the government to continue to maintain that UFOs are non-existent in the face of the documents already released and of other cogent evidence ... is puerile and, in a sense, an insult to the American people.”

Sagan’s alleged UFO revelation was cited by Hynek’s former colleague, photojournalist and investigative reporter Paola Leopizzi-Harris.

“My recollection is that Hynek said it was backstage of one of the many Johnny Carson Tonight Shows Sagan did,” Leopizzi-Harris said. “He basically said” to Hynek “in 1984, ‘I know UFOs are real, but I would not risk my research funding, as you do, to talk openly about them in public.’ ” This comment was in stark contrast to many of Sagan’s earlier statements, including one at a 1968 meeting of the U.S. House Committee on Science and Astronautics at which he said: “I do not think the evidence is at all persuasive, that UFOs are of intelligent extraterrestrial origin.”

For the past 63 years, many “mainstream scientists” and other academic leaders have paid little attention to the UFO/ET phenomenon. Perhaps the alleged Sagan revelation and the Hawking/Hellyer debate will help a bit to stimulate badly needed scholarly activity regarding that problem.

Bill Wickersham is an adjunct professor of peace studies at the University of Missouri.

Couple witness mass UFO sighting in the UK.

They claim what they saw was “probably not from our world”.
The witnesses known only as Diana and Steve reported their “eerie but fascinating” encounter yesterday (Monday).

Their sighting was a few weeks ago, when aircraft were grounded by the ash cloud fallout from the Eyjafjallajokull volcano, and they claim the object could not have been a Chinese lantern.

Diana wrote: “My partner was out in the garden when he tapped on the window to call me out. He pointed out to the sky where we couldn’t believe our eyes. I saw the back end of what appeared to be a ball of orange flickering flames gliding through the air. My partner said to him it seemed to have a black edge around it (mainly the same description of so many other sightings on here and other sites).

There was no sound seemed very eerie but fascinating. Then three other orange orbs followed the same pattern in exactly the same direction, similar speed until they faded into the distance.”

She added: “We have never seen anything like this and are both level headed but know that what we saw was probably not from our world.

I’m sure others must have seen them on that day in our area would be nice to hear their story, have experienced another sighting of three more orbs earlier this week but from a further distance.

Two of them moved away in the distance but one turned into a white light, stopped mid-air for at least 15 minutes then just disappeared. Can anybody please explain what’s happening and why are there so many sightings in the UK but nothing reported via the media?”

On This Day in June 7, 1965 NASA Astronaut James McDivitt had UFO sighting in space.

On June 7, 1965, Major James McDivitt saw, filmed, and photographed an object, which approached the Gemini IV (June 7th 1965) capsule in which they were orbiting the Earth, passing over Hawaii. The UFO had a long arm sticking out of it.

Here is what Major James McDivitt repeated many times:

"I was flying with Ed White. He was sleeping at the time so I don't have anybody to verify my story. We were drifting in space with the control engines shut down and all the instrumentation off (when) suddenly (an object) appeared in the window. It had a very definite shape - a cylindrical object - it was white - it had a long arm that stuck out on the side. I don't know whether it was a very small object up close or a very large object a long ways away. There was nothing to judge by. I really don't know how big it was. We had two cameras that were just floating in the spacecraft at the time, so I grabbed one and took a picture of (the object) and grabbed the other and took a picture. Then I turned on the rocket control systems because I was afraid we might hit it. At the time we were drifting - without checking I have no idea which way we were going - but as we drifted up a little farther the sun shone on the window of the spacecraft. The windshield was dirty - just like in an automobile, you can't see through it. So I had the rocket control engines going again and moved the spacecraft so that the window was in darkness again - the object was gone. I called down later and told them what had happened and they went back and checked their records of other space debris that was flying around but we were never able to identify what it could have been. The film was sent back to NASA and reviewed by some NASA film technicians. One of them selected what he thought was what we talked about, at least before I had a chance to review it. It was not the picture - it was a picture of a sun reflection on the window."

The "Condon Report" is considered by almost all ufologists and by several scientists who participated to it as a deliberate attempt to debunk the UFO phenomenon, did validate the McDivitt UFO sighting and several other astronaut sightings:

"There are three visual sightings made by the astronauts while in orbit which, in the judgment of the writer, have not been adequately explained. These are: 1. Gemini 4, astronaut McDivitt. Observation of a cylindrical object with a protuberance. 2. Gemini 4, astronaut McDivitt. Observation of a moving bright light at a higher level than the Gemini spacecraft. 3. Gemini 7, astronaut Borman saw what he described as a ‘bogey’ flying in formation with the spacecraft."

And later: "visual sightings made by the astronauts while in orbit which, in the judgment of the writer, have not been adequately explained.... Unexplained sightings which have been gleaned from a great mass of reports are a challenge to the analyst. Especially puzzling is Especially puzzling is the first one [The one presented here] of an object showing details such as arms protruding from a body having a noticeable angular extension. If the NORAD listing of objects near the GT-4 spacecraft at the time of the sighting is complete as it presumably is, we shall have to find a rational explanation or, alternatively, keep it on our list of unidentifieds."

In 1975, McDivitt adds: "I never made a big deal out of it. It was something I definitely couldn't identify. I reported it to the ground ... Ed was asleep and we were rotating at a pretty high rate in drifting flight. The windows were dirty, I recall ... All of a sudden there was this white object out there. It looked like a beer can with a pencil sticking out of it at an angle. It had a definite cylinder shape, about three times as long as its diameter." Maloney adds that the astronaut estimated that he got a 30-second look at the object. Furthermore, McDivitt said, the space agency made no attempt to prevent his telling his UFO story.

A NORAD officer later handed to the well known debunker Klass a print of the Titan-II second stage. This, he told Klass, was what McDivitt had seen but was unable to identify: the Titan booster. Klass obtained a copy of the photo from NORAD and sent it to McDivitt, asking if it did not closely correspond to his verbal description of the UFO he had seen. McDivitt replied:

"Thank you for sending me the slide of the Gemini-IV photograph. I very quickly identified the object in the photograph as the second stage of the Titan rocket which launched us ... I am sure that this is not a photograph of the object which I described many times and which many people refer to as the Gemini IV UFO...."

McDivitt did not see any special importance in what he saw. He did not file any UFO report, he also always insisted that it was not the Titan II booster. He also never gave an opinion about the nature of what he saw. Some researchers rightfully noted that the astronauts eyesight was affected by the long exposition to the oxygen saturated atmosphere in the Gemini capsule. Some ufo-promoters did exaggerate the story. But debunkers did understimate it also on occasion. Almost everyone agrees that it could not have been a human satellite, such as a secret US satellite or a Russian craft.

UFOs can trigger Earthquakes suggest scientists, UFO sighting.

“Slow Earthquake” is a phenomenon of a fault moving silently, stealthily, slipping over the course of several minutes to a few weeks, generally avoiding the scrutiny of geologists and geophysicists by generating few if any waves reports the India Daily.

In Japan, Kawasaki, et al. (1995) detected a large, ultra-slow earthquake subsequent to the July 18, 1992, Sanriku-Oki, Japan earthquake (MS 6.9) which corresponded to a MW 7.3-7.7 event (quartz-tube extensometers recorded the crustal strain). Back in the United States, Linde et. al. (1996) revealed that in December of 1992 two borehole strain meters located near the San Andreas fault (in the transitional zone between the locked and creeping segments of the fault in central California) recorded a series of “strange signals.” These were interpreted as the result of a slow earthquake.

The slow earthquake phenomenon is present in every continent and mysteriously happens all the time.

According to many, Extraterrestrial UFOs use the slow earthquakes to shift the tectonic plates of the earth. Below the earth’s crust, many believe they build UFO bases.

The phenomenon of slow earth quake some time precedes the large earthquake and sometime it is independent of any major earthquake.

Phoenix, Arizona mass UFO sighting of 9 silver craft.

AZ, June 1, 2010 – 9 silver/flashing objects in sky above metro Phoenix. MUFON Case # 23578.

First silver object was straight up but slightly west, 30-40k ft altitude and stationary, then moed behind clouds.

Further NW another object stationary then took off to NW, looked like it was tumbling and flashing; refleting light, not illuminating. Went behind clouds.

Third object seen slightly to the north, eventually went into clouds.

Then 5 objects appeard slightly to the northeast. much higher, perhaps 60-70k ft altitude. They appeared to be dots of flashing light. Moved off to the north in a formation.

Then a ninth object, which looked elongated, seemed to be falling straight down out of the sky, no tumbling motion. Went below the cloud cover and was south of the others.

All this over metro, downtown Phoenix: 75th Avenue and Thomas Road. More than myself witnessed this. I called Dr. Lynne Kitei, the employer of my fiance. She then called Stacey Wright and Jim Mann of Phoenix MUFON. Stacey called me back and I reported all the above to her, verbally. I do not have a computer to report this to MUFON, so I gave permission to Stacey to document and report this sighting. (I, Stacey Wright, am the typist here).

Nuclear Physicist Describes Vast UFO sighting Cover-Up.

(June 7) -- "Some UFOs are intelligently controlled extraterrestrial spacecraft, and this is the biggest story of the millennium."

These words are not the rantings of a deranged individual looking for attention or a comfortable straitjacket. Stanton Friedman is a maverick of sorts.

Employed for 14 years as a nuclear physicist for companies like General Electric, General Motors, Westinghouse and Aerojet General Nucleonics, he worked on highly classified programs involving nuclear aircraft, fission and fusion rockets.

In 1958, UFOs caught his attention, and Friedman has since lectured about this subject at more than 700 colleges and professional groups in all 50 states and around the world.

Courtesy of Stanton Friedman
Nuclear physicist Stanton Friedman has devoted more than 50 years to pursuing the scientific truth of UFOs, and was the original civilian investigator of the legendary 1947 Roswell, N.M., incident.

"After 53 years of investigation, I'm convinced we're dealing here with a cosmic Watergate," he told AOL News. "That means a few people within major governments have known since at least 1947 that some UFOs are alien spacecraft."

In Friedman's new book, "Science Was Wrong," co-authored with Kathleen Marden, he wrote, "There's been no shortage of strong, negative proclamations from debunking groups and individuals who refuse to examine the evidence ... to support the notion that some UFOs are of extraterrestrial origin."

Friedman cites many cases of UFO encounters experienced by competent, reliable eyewitnesses, including one involving Japan Airlines.

Courtesy of Stanton Friedman
One of the most credible sightings of a UFO in history is from a series of images taken aboard the Brazilian ship Almirante Saldanha on Jan. 16, 1958. The Saturn-shaped object was witnessed by the ship's crew and several scientists. The UFO approached the island, making a steep turn before flying away quickly. Juscelino Kubitschek, then president of Brazil, confirmed the authenticity of the photos.

"A 747 over Alaska encountered something that was twice the size of an aircraft carrier, that flew circles around the jet. They reported it to the ground, where both the UFO and the 747 were picked up on radar.

"The explanation from debunkers was that it was Jupiter! Boy, airplane radar can pick up Jupiter? It was totally ludicrous. You're fighting the forces of 'evil,' one might say -- arrogance and ignorance."

While some scientists through the years have quietly suggested Earth has been visited by ETs, Friedman is the most outspoken. He's especially irked by the attitude of scientists who use radio and optical telescopes in the search for extraterrestrial intelligence, such as the SETI Institute in California.

"Their livelihood depends on the assumption that there's nobody coming here, and if we just wait long enough, we're going to pick up the signal and it'll be the greatest discovery in man's history, and it will help solve all our problems.

"What really bothers me is that the SETI people will tell you there is no evidence for UFOs. Well, they certainly don't reference any, so there must not be, right? Wrong!"

If so, why would reputable scientists refuse to consider that Earth may be a vacation spot for otherworldly travelers?

"Because they'd have to admit that they'd ignored such a big story for so long and that they were wrong," Friedman said. "Being wrong is something that scientists don't like to admit at all."

Over the past 50 years, numerous surveys and public opinion polls have indicated that people are very interested in and, even, concerned about UFOs.

Courtesy of Stanton Friedman
One of the best UFO pictures ever taken, this object was photographed by Paul Trent over his McMinnville, Ore., farm in May 1950. A subsequent Air Force investigation determined that "an extraordinary flying object, silvery, metallic, disk-shaped, tens of meters in diameter and evidently artificial, flew within sight of two eyewitnesses."

A 2002 Roper poll, commissioned by the Sci-Fi Channel, noted that 72 percent of Americans believed the U.S. government isn't telling all it knows about UFOs, and 68 percent thought the government knows more about extraterrestrial life than it cares to disclose.

But why would the government -- any government -- cover up UFO information? To Friedman, the answer is more down to earth.

"I don't know of any government on this planet that wants its citizens to owe their primary allegiance to the planet. Nationalism is the only game in town."

Also, Friedman says, there's the military point of view. "From a national security angle, everybody would like to grab a flying saucer and figure out how it works and use it to deliver weapons on the other guy, and there's always another guy."

How exactly would one go about obtaining a flying saucer? One way is to just wait until an otherworldly vehicle develops some mechanical problem and simply crashes to the ground.

Roswell, N.M., comes to mind.

In July 1947, something crashed outside the small town that, according to the initial official report, was a flying saucer. Authorities quickly changed that story, claiming it was merely a weather balloon that had fallen from the sky.

Thirty years after the Roswell event, Friedman met military personnel who were involved with the events of 1947 and he says they eventually stepped forward to advance the account of a crashed spacecraft and dead alien bodies.

Because of Friedman's dogged determination, the Roswell UFO legend was born.

"I followed up enough to find a number of key people, and with no Internet available, it took a lot of work," he said.

But Friedman is keenly aware of the abundant skepticism that swirls around the Roswell UFO controversy.

"Naturally, the resistance to acceptance of this case is going to be stronger than any other case," he said. "Because if it's true, it's everything -- bodies, wreckage, cover-up, threats -- what more do you need?"

Friedman says he's only had 11 hecklers in more than 700 lectures on UFOs.

"I'm still optimistic that, within my lifespan -- and I'm 75 -- we'll get at least a part of the story, that we're not alone in the universe."

With the discovery in recent years of hundreds of planets circling other suns, scientists continue to speculate that life is plentiful in the cosmos.

Plus, in 2008, the pope's chief astronomer, the Rev. Gabriel Funes, proclaimed that intelligent beings created by God might actually exist in outer space, and that it wouldn't contradict a belief in God.

All of that gives Friedman hope.

"Now is probably the time to say, yes, we're part of a galactic neighborhood; unfortunately, we're not the big shots in the neighborhood."
