Event Description: "This photo is from a friend of mine. She said it had a strange formation and I perceived it to look like a flying saucer.



It's not an actual flying saucer but the clouds take the form of one that looks awfully like a ufo. If you're wondering if it is photo-edited, it's not. Just a coincidence I suppose that the clouds took that shape that time of day. It must be a sign of some sort."

UFO sighting in Pennsylvania, US during fireworks, July 3, 2010.

Event Description: "The 2010 Independence Day celebrations in my hometown took place on Saturday July 3rd rather than on the traditional date of the 4th. My home is situated where the fireworks are visible from my yard and I decided to snap some pictures of the displays.






I took a total of 23 shots between 9:46pm and 9:56pm (eastern) with most of them being from the same vantage point facing south. Many of the photos contain odd lights that are not firework embers, and I have attributed the lights to being as yet unexploded ordinances or stars and planets that were momentarily visible through smoke and cloud. And some of the photos show orbs that I attribute to particles in the air near the camera lens (see photo #01 at 9:46). But there are blue spheres that appear in various sizes, locations and light densities (meaning level of brightness) in a few photos that I cannot explain away. They are quite bright and well defined in 2 of the photos.



In photos #14 (9:49pm) & #17 (9:52pm), a blue sphere is visible that is fairly large, very distinct and surrounded by light. Enlargement of the anomalies shows a clearly 3-dimensional blue ball shaped object at the center. The anomaly appears on the immediate left edge of the firework display in photo #14 and to the right of the display in photo #17. This blue sphere does not appear in photos #15 (9:50) or #16 (9:51). Nor does it appear immediately after photo #17 in either #18 or #19 which were also shot at 9:52pm.

Camera used: Olympus Camedia digital D-540Z, 3.2 megapixel

During the entire 10 minutes in which I snapped pictures, I rarely looked at the scene via the naked eye. I primarily viewed the fireworks through the camera, so I did not see the blue spheres until the photos were viewed and downloaded into my computer. Perhaps they are just a trick of the camera, but I submit the photos for the viewer to decide.

The object, glowing in golden light, was moving slowly toward the ground dragging a comet-like tail, said a city bus driver surnamed Yu. It changed track after moving downwards for about six minutes.

Hangzhou meteorological authorities said what these people reported might have been sunlight reflected from regular airplanes.

Event Description: "I was eating a McDonalds and noticed everyone pointing West and I saw these 6 lights moving across the sky - low and silent, in formation until one varied the others.



I have it on my camera phone - but, in the moment it is filmed upside down and when I got out of the car I just left the phone and didn't think of it.



Everyone outside was quiet and watching mostly. I was amazed, I have never seen anything like this. I never saw anything on TV or news about it. I was astonished and the people had gathered to watch it. We are not far from Cape Canaveral. It was viewable for about 7 minutes, it was silent and moved slowly."

THEY are the digital-age equivalent of crop circles - mysterious patterns appearing on the Bureau of Meteorology's national radar system without any explanation.

And the random images described as red stars, rings of fire and white doughnuts are sending online conspiracy websites into meltdown.

The anomalies first began on January 15, 2010 when an "iced doughnut" appeared over Kalgoorlie in WA.

Satellite imagery showed there was no cloud over the area at the time to explain the unusual phenomenon but farmers' online comments claimed it was "unusually hot" all day.

It was followed by a bizarre red star over Broome on January 22 and a sinister spiral burst over Melbourne described by amateur radar buffs as the Ring Of Fire Fault.

The Bureau, which did not respond to repeated requests for comment, has acknowledged the anomalies on its popular website.
It has since posted a disclaimer above the national loop feed putting the images down to "occasional interference to the radar data".

"The Bureau is currently investigating ways to reduce these interferences," the disclaimer said.

Conspiracy websites, however, have lit up with dozens of breathless theories behind the strange anomalies from alien involvement, secret military testing to government weather modification.

One theory gaining traction online is the belief the US military has expanded its High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program.

Based at a remote research station in Alaska, the HAARP project involves shooting extremely high frequency radar bursts into the upper reaches of the atmosphere to see what happens after particles of the ionosphere are temporarily excited.

Ostensibly the research is to study the effects of solar flares on radio communications and improve missile detection and navigation systems.

But, unlike the failed cloud seeding experiments of yesteryear, conspiracy theorists claim HAARP is engaged in a sophisticated form of weather modification and that testing is also being done from a secret facility near Exmouth in Western Australia.

UK electrical engineer and crop circle expert Colin Andrews said Australians deserve an explanation.

Until (the Bureau of Meteorology) make a formal and complete response to all the various strange patterns, one can only speculate about what is taking place," he said.

Mr Andrews urged people concerned by the bizarre radar symbols and strange weather patterns to contact the Bureau of Meteorology or a government representative.

Another theory suggests the anomalies appear before major weather events such as cyclones Olga and Paul and the violent storms which hit Victoria in recent weeks.

Others argue objects in the atmosphere emitting powerful radiation could be behind the mystery.

UFO sighting at Perry's Victory Monument, Ohio July 3, 2010.

Event Description: "Me and my wife spent the Fourth of July weekend visiting Put-in-Bay, Ohio. On Saturday, July 3rd, 2010, we were riding our bikes toward the Perry's Victory Monument. It was approximately 10:30 am, Eastern time, and the Monument was directly to our East. The morning sun was extremely bright, and the skies were perfectly clear. The sun was directly behind the top of the structure when we rode by, so I stopped to take a picture. It was very peaceful and quiet at this time. The top of the tower was glowing from the sun behind it. I took a picture with my digital camera, although it was very hard to see what I was shooting because of the intense sunlight. When I got home, I transferred the pictures from our trip to my computer in order to print them. When I printed the picture of the Monument, I noticed something in the air behind it, about half-way up on the right side. I didn't think much of it until I looked very close. Then I looked at it on the computer, and I zoomed in as far as I could. I saw a very distinct, metallic, steep-angled, saucer-shaped flying object.



It was very startling. I remember having to squint whenever I looked in the direction of the Monument, and my attention was focused on the glowing top, so I did not notice the object when I took the picture, only when I printed it out. And, like I said above, it was a very quiet and peaceful time of the morning, and me and my wife made a note of how quiet it was at that time (no airplane or helicopter noises).

UFO sighting Shoots Across China Looking like Giant Mother Ship, July 2, 2010, same as in Russia in 2009.

Although eyewitnesses say it is a small UFO with a big trail behind it, in the photo it looks like one large mothership. This is similar to another UFO sighting in Russia. See below.

The Russian UFO photo here comes from a video of a Security Camera on,May 22, 2009. Location of UFO: Sarapul in the Udmurt Republic. The V shape from the first object looks solid! It looks like the wake of a ship on the water. I believe this to be a giant ship that is cloaked and semi transparent, or light bending around it causing this effect.




In this Russian video there is a second appears to be a smaller craft the dropped out of the back end. This second object is also seen in the China Photo, look for the dark object inside the wake of the UFO. The trajectory doesn't look like a natural object or a rocket launch. It seems to indicate an atmospheric entry.
