Strange UFO coin from 1680 puzzles the experts, March 2016, UFO Sighting News.

I've been looking for one of these off and on for a few weeks. It looks really amazing and is absolute proof that in the 1600s the French witnessed enough UFO sightings to decide to put some of what they saw on coins.

This is a French jeton minted in somewhere between 1856 to 1680, a coin-like educational tool that was commonly used to help people count money, or sometimes used as a money substitute for playing games. It is about the size of a U.S. quarter-dollar and similar to thousands of other jetons with different religious and educational designs that were produced and used in Europe during the 16th and 17th centuries. It appears to commemorate a UFO sighting of a wheel like object. Some researchers feel it represents the Biblical Ezekiel's wheel. The Latin inscription 'OPPORTUNUS ADEST' translates as 'It is here at an opportune time".

If you are lucky you can find one on Ebay (Click Here)  for anywhere between $20 US to $500 depending on the sellers asking price and condition of the coin. I heard from a guy who won a similar coin that he got for $45, because it was just listed for a few hours when he hit the buy it now button, so timing and luck are everything. Happy hunting.

  1. This particular jeton is referred to among collectors as "The UFO Coin." Debunkers claim it depicts a mushroom. A flying mushroom? Hmmmm...

  3. Blog "LA MENTIRA ESTÁ AHÍ FUERA" I'm pasting this...
Is this the representation of a flying saucer that occurred sometime in the past? The answer is NO.
The currency is really a jetón , or part without legal value , used for calculations or as a means of payment in a community unofficially , possibly coined in the seventeenth century. Like many other similar coins represents a Ancile , or sacred shield of ancient Rome .
History tells us that Numa Pompilius, second king of Rome, successor of Romulus, Jupiter asked for secrecy to protect themselves from lightning. Jupiter asks you to change a human sacrifice, but Numa , who is a peaceful man shuns with dialectic. The king fears for the wrath of God, but instead Jupiter amused his daring and promises to reveal the secret the next day. As promised , the next noon Jupiter threw a shield over the King . Rome would have nothing to fear from their enemies while the shield is kept safe. The king kept in a sanctuary , but for fear of being stolen , ordered the construction of other identical to the real eleven o'clock. This shield , invaluable for Rome , is the reason for these representations.

    1. So...its a UFO.I still want one, but so hard to find.

    2. UFOs back then were often called flying shields and wheels.

  4. Ive heard rumours that commander Ceaser himself, had witness what he termed Flying Sheilds during his military rampages back in his day, and that one Jeton image clarily to me seem to be a very strange lookin Humanoid Being on it youd thk right!, come on Don look very closely, personally i thk the minters of these coins had some kind of "Cosmic Influnce" from some experience, thought incalcation or something ET related to create these images...

You do realize perhaps that UFO sightings or what then was termed "Flyin Sheilds" did occure even way back during the Roman Impires zenith of power, like in this modern day Sec/Gov GRB controled zenith of imperial pwr UC...
