~Email Report~
Time: 9:13 PM
Date of sighting: June 22, 2013
Location of sighting: Easton, Pennsylvania, USA

Eyewitness states:
On my way home from my friend's house, I looked up at the sky & noticed these red dots moving. So I took out my phone and began recording it. I couldn't make out what it was. At first I thought they were lanterns, but there was nothing major going on around in the city & it was pretty quiet that night, plus there was no wind current blowing. In the video you can see that they were moving sorta quick towards a certain direction. I told myself "WOW THERE UFOS!".  But that's just me. What do you think it could be?

  1. I think those are high-flying birds, migrating. Also, they seem very similar to the sighting described by Columbus just before reaching America. It likely was just after sundown, and the flickering was due to the flapping of wings.

  2. We saw the same thing, all the way up here in Ottawa, Canada!!!! We were walking along a dark bike path on our way home from Bluesfest, when to the south, we saw what we thought was a bunch of hot air balloons rising in the distance. It being dark, it made sense that we would only see the lights of their fires. I saw this when I went on the web looking for what it could be. There were no hot air balloons in Ottawa last night. What could it be???

  3. We saw the exact same thing all the way up here in Ottawa, Canada!!! We were walking along a dark bike path, on our way home from Bluesfest, when we saw a bunch of orange lights rising to the south, they rose together and dispersed before disappearing. I thought it was hot air balloons rising in the dark. It would make sense that being dark, only their fires would be visible. But I checked and there were no hot air balloon events in Ottawa last night. But this sighting, matches ours almost exactly!!!
