Today the rover drove over an ancient face with its metal tires. There are three photos of this face. Taken Feb 10, 2015 at 11:06:18 UTC on Sol 1249 of Curiosity.

The tread marks go across the face, the the rover changes directions after driving over it. I wonder...did the scientists at see or even care about what they drove over? Curiosity it seems has become blind to its publicly publicized mission, but instead has a mission unknown to the public.

If the statue of David by Michelangelo was burried entirely except for his face, would the public walk over it and ignore it? Even on Earth people are more curious about the unknown, than the rover named after it.  NASA scientists seem to make their own rules as they go, regardless of the unethical standards and the damage they cause to art thousands of years old.

  1. Dear Scott, there's no ethic in a mission like this. We can easily say that this mission is finalized to conquer (yes, i said that, CONQUER) the planet, as well as explore and study it. And as everybody know well, when u conquer u don't look at anyone' face. You just go, eyes down, no ethic, no respect, no concordats, no asking, nothing. You do what u gotta do (or what they told you to do) and you can't give a f..k. Nasa knows very well that the "people" and creatures that still live there have no resources strong enough to fight this invasion. Cause this is an invasion, nothin more or less, the first invasion of an extraplanetary world. You blame Curiosity for stepping on an ancient from of art, and that's fair. I would love to see how was architecture and buildings there!! But we should blame more Nasa for destroying what's left on Mars to give total free Room for the future mens exploration of the "red planet", that's Why Nasa is even nuking the Planet (remember that picture from the Indian Space Agency where you can clearly see that huge nuclear mushroom?)..Who knows how many small greys or reptilians they squeezed with the rover, just to have the path free or to study them. Sadly, this is what i'm sure is happening up there.

  2. Very true Steph. That rover is doing more than they tell the public. I noticed every metal wheel has half dollar size holes torn through it. This rover has been doing black ops. No ethics in that at all.
